Forums - Sony - The best feature about the Vita that doesn't always work.

Music playback during games. I love it!!! Such an underrated feature, and perfect for those smaller games on the go like Sine Mora and Super Stardust. But why doesn't it work with Psp games? Or better yet, some smaller games like Hotline Miami (although the soundtrack is epic anyway).

Curious to see if anyone knew anything about this; be it Sony previously announcing a fix or saying it is what it is.

I want to listen to Eminem's new album while playing God Eater Burst!!!

Around the Network

Indeed is a good feature, but sometimes when random songs show up "like i have in my playlist" and have no common relation with the current game makes it annoying to me.

Could very well be developers choosing to disable it.

4 ≈ One

Developers I think are choosing to disable it and I personally think they should not be allowed to. For some Reason PSASBR had the ability upon release but in a later update hinders in-game music. Extremely infuriating. I play most mindless fun games with custom soundtracks because it helps me play. I am also annoyed by Persona 4 blocked them too, I actually just want to listen to the P4G soundtrack but in my chosen order.

Hindering it doesn't make much sense to me unless your game is COMPLETELY based on sound cues.

I've sent a few messages to Sony about it but no answer :/
