Why do Nintendo always show people playing with wiimotes instead of the controller pro's?

I was mad at first, when it looked like more of 3D Land, which I found a little boring at times. The world map was the worst though. Didn't really feel like a real Mario, especially when they already made a map over 20 years ago which was amazing (SMB3). When they showed the world map for 3D World though, I was hooked completely.

I think this game is going to be fantastic.

because the 100 miliion people that bought the Wii have Wii motes. 

But wouldn't that confuse them to think that they can play it on their wii and not have to buy a wiiU?

Yes, there's actually both a good side and a bad side to that. Before, consoles would always use new controllers except rare cases like Brawl, but on Wii U the Wii mote is neccesary for multiplayer, and that creates a real confusion among those not into game sites and such.

Hope Nintendo markets it straight and easy-looking to use the different Wii U controller options.

This game is why I bought a WiiU:)

Christmas morning for me

Might have to buy mine in December, I have a lot of Christmas presents to buy, one is an halo 4 360 controller, I also need to pick up another controller pro when I buy SM3DW.
