I created a thread at the beginning of Oct when I was considering 2DSs for my boys for their bdays. (one is Oct4 other is Oct31) 

For the first son, I ended up finding a perfect blue 3DS XL for $125 at a pawn shop. This one has been perfect, but I couldn't extend its warranty or get Nintendo Club points.

Today I got a red 3DS XL for $150 that is pretty much new, still in box and was able to register with extra 90days warranty and club nintendo points (160coins).

Sweet deals this month. Two 3DS XLs, in like-new condition for $275; saving myself $125.

On top of that, now I'm already platinum for this year :). Guess I'll save any other codes for next year. 

Just happy and thought I'd share with ya'll. 

Congratulations! Your kids must be really happy By the way those where really good deals! I did a really poor deal and got mine for just a couple of thousand less of the original price and it didn't come with the Club Nintendo points .

Having the money and spending it wastefully are two different things. Plus, this gen I've only bought new games, so I am being more supportive. My WiiU was new too. :P

But in April (daughters bday), she will likely also get a used 3DS lol.
