Thanks! Emerald was my first pokemon game, so i'm pretty exited to try OR/AS out. Based on the reviews I've read many of its original flaws are there (such as the irritating water navigation sections), but all the good stuff is there too + more. Thought i'd ask around here and see what people thought.

I just beat the third gym and my experience is with emerald and let me say this... if you liked emerald then this game will disappoint you difficulty wise. I forgot how much emerald stepped up the difficulty for the gym leaders among other things because not even the 2nd may fight was that hard. Its awesome though but the difficulty for me is lacking. I wish they used more of emerald than the original 2 for the remakes.

visited Gamestop and Best Buy in my area. sure they have plenty of XB1 and PS4 games and consoles on their shelves. the Wii U have the MK8 demo with it at Gamestop. The Best Buy have the multi-game demo tried Captain Toad earlier. not sure if Gamestop have the demo where it has other games as the two kids are still playing.

saw a father and son watching the amiibos trailer and seems interested.

I imagine there will be an awful awful lot of custom amiibo. Maybe Nintendo should hold a competition and encourage it!
