Also a suggestion! You could make it so regardless of the number of players (namely when we have 9-16), the top cut will be top 4, so that the finals will always have 8 players in it.

I was thinking of doing that, but as one group only had 4 people in I thought let's just go for the top 3 this time. 

Maybe when more people are up to it? But good idea!

@poll: Nintendo could use one or two new IPs (I think one is incoming from Miyamoto-san), but what it really needs to do is thoroughly explore all its current IPs. Nintendo has a huge stable of properties; it just needs to use them.

Wave Race, F-Zero, Star Fox, Excite, Punch-Out!!, 1080, Endless Ocean, Metroid, Kirby, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Wario, The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario, Donkey Kong, Golden Sun, Brain Age, etc.

Great choices. They're all excellent games! I personally like Luigi's Mansion the most out of all of them, but you'll enjoy all of them no doubt.
