Somebody didnt grow up with the N64 =P

And anyway as I said, Nintendo have made some great games for the 3DS, there is just those games that they are making right now that also arent great.
The DS output from Nintendo was much more solid imo.

Also Super Mario 3D Land totally dosent count as a 3D Mario =P Yes its 3D and yes its Mario but its a new IP (well the way Nintendo make IPs anyway)

I feel 3D land is what Miyamoto wanted to do with Mario 64 but was limited in memory and how exactly to do it. After seeing the success of 64, they went to do Sunshine in a similar style. Seeing how the open world aspect didn't exactly work. They moved more towards a 2D mario in a 3D space with Galaxy and then the 3D games. 3D Land stages are actually bigger than a Mario 64 world I believe

I did have access to an N64 but didn't care for it overall (Playstation ftw!) aside from Ocarina, Kirby, Banjo, and Starfox. I'd really like to know just what they were thinking when they made that god awful controller! Also, DS didn't even get many of the games 3DS has gotten, and you just admitted that 3D Mario is 3D Mario! Why would you even want to think otherwise!?
