Wii U news of 19/03/2014: Had a long day at school yesterday edition!

  • Global Software, week ending 8th of March: DK was again the best selling Wii U game, with 53k units, and 367k LTD. And then comes (in a really bad position) NSMBU, 3D World, NSLU, Nintendo Land, and Wii Party U... As a milestone, both AC IV and Batman Arkham Origins reached 150k.
  • There were 2 updates yesterday, one for Miiverse, and the other for the eShop (which added file sizes in the description of games).
  • Media Create: Very depressing... Wii U keeps a stable week... with only 7k... And DK is the only game in SW sales... and only sold 5k...
  • Wii U Web Framework demo was Mario vs DK!

I haven't noticed any difference on the 3DS version. What changed about the Wii U version?

That's actually a good idea! I'd forgotten Wii Sports Club allowed for online play. Hope it has a tournament mode to make life easy!

Not sure if anyone has seen it, but Metacritic has Layton v Wright at 80, even with a fake 40 from over a year ago. So 82 without it.

That's higher than I was expecting.
