By the way, has anyone of you played Metroid Prime Trilogy? The graphical differences between Prime and Prime 2 are head scratching.
Not only does Prime have no aliasing whatsoever, the textures had no touches at all and the bloom/lightning enhancements are pretty poor, plus some effects are completely absent, such as the ice crystals forming around your arm cannon when using the Charge Ice Beam, effects that were present in the GC version.
Prime 2 on the other hand, has a very noticeable anti-aliasing, most textures are kicked up a notch on their internal resolution (probably got bumped to 64x64 or 128x128) and the lightning enhancements are pretty noticeable, especially on Dark Aether and it keeps all of the GC version effects intact
It strikes me as odd how there's so many differences between both games when they're part of the same compilation to the point that Prime actually feels like a downgrade from the GC version.
