It's pretty bad how Activision handles this (like the previous years). I don't want the speculation train to be rolling until late summer again, that's just tiring.

Nintendo is hosting an event called Mess Fest for Splatoon on May 15 in Santa Monica.  Apparently they are getting celebrities to play Splatoon and having some giveaways.

Finally, Nintendo actually promotes a Wii U game outside of Mario Kart and Smash. :D

Also, is it me or did the mix of reveal tailer and new footage here show it looking significantly more polished now than it did last June?
