Yeah I'd recommend to not buy the HW DLC straight away. Though you might be happy with not doing much in the adventure modes but being able to use extra weapons and characters and costumes, which are not unlockable in-game and can use straight away. (Twili Midna is fantastic imo.)

Munchies, I think for Smash U, you should try it somewhere. It's honestly better than 3DS version by like 5x but you can be happy enough with the portable version. As for MK8 DLC you should get it. Best value DLC in the universe imo.

Currently I have the following games on Wii U in order of getting them and for digital in order of playing as I got them at same time:
Retail: MK8, Hyrule Warriors, AC Black Flag, Bayonetta 1, Bayonetta 2, Smash U
Digital:NES Remix 2, Art of Balance, LoZ Minish Cap, SteamWorld Dig and Child of Light.

I'm going to purchase one of XCX, Starfox and Splatoon this year. Swords & Soldiers 2 will be my next digital purchase but I won't play until exams are over.

Lol, well I'm sure you have enough games to play for quite some time so there probably isn't really a need to buy more games any time soon. As for Hyrule Warriors DLC, I'd recommend that only if you plan to spend a lot more time with it. If it isn't really your game, don't get the DLC because it adds more stages and increases grinding.. That said the DLC is pretty good and might as well get the pack instead of the individual ones to save money.

I'd recommend The Wind Waker HD because the game is really good, but purchase it after you complete your other games that you have purchased

What about the Splatoon characters in Smash, hmm? That would be interesting. ..

Splatoon character in Smash isn't that unrealistic, in my opinion.. It may not have been released yet, but Nintendo could possibly use them as a promotion, like Roy in Melee.

I think they should do a Splatoon fighter even if the people don´t ask for it. It would be a good merchandising.

And of course, they should do the characters that the fans want. (Bayonetta of course :P)
