The story told in the Prime games ended nicely with Metroid Prime 3 and in my opinion it would be a mistake.

Of course it's up to Nintendo to "revisit" those elements, but if they do, not only they will have to explain why are we going back to them again, but it will restraint their creative options.

Nope, it would be better if they go for a completely new story or if they re-do the original games as a way to reintroduce the IP to the newer audiences... something that I don't want because I want it on a home console and it doesn't make sense to make such a thing on the Wii U with its small userbase, so a new story is the best option.

Honestly I'd also like an Other M with less crap story n cinematics and more gameplay.

That would be nice. I do believe the game has some promise, but it just wasn't executed as well as it could have been.
