There should be a poll about how we feel about Nintendo's move into smartphone gaming.
Really interested in seeing how Nintendo can sustain console sales if Nintendo software is no longer exclusive to them anymore and third party relations are still terrible. I'm aware they are not porting games but this still means Nintendo software is no longer exclusive to Nintendo. Looks like we will figure out shortly though.
I'm interested in how the media will portray this news and if they mention rhat Nintendo is making new games and not ports. If this news gets widely spread with misinterpretation, will people think Nintendo is going third party on mobile and that will also affect current system and games' sales? This is unlikely to happen but still certainly possible.

Imagine if they offered their mobile games all for free with this subscription and gave them in game credits for any F2P games but then also on the console side they offered exclusive discounts, VC games and aging retail games like PS+. It would be a great way to draw in your mobile gamers to the handheld/home console who are now getting things for a console they may not own yet. Also not a fan of mobile games?? Sorry this is just a tad confusing to me as their is no difference between mobile games and handheld games really. The real problem is wading through the F2P crap to find the good games, and then most people bitch that they have to pay $5-20 for a great expirience.

Hmm, if it's PS +, I'm not too much of a fan of it. I wouldn't be against it as something people may want, as long as it's not forced on us. I'm not sure if would target the mobile gamers either. They may be fine enough with just mobile games. If they're just playing mobile games, chances are they are not so interested in a console. I could be wrong though...
And on mobile phone games, I don't have a smartphone, so I don't have access to them, and also, I'm not really interested in them. They seem like small games to pass the time while commuting. I'm more of the bigger sized games, like RPGs, Adventure, and whatever other games on the handhelds. Mobile games seem too light for me, sorry. And I like buttons too... : P

That's not a bad idea with the polls. It'd be nice if there could be 2 polls, one for Ninten fans and one for everyone. Would be interesting to hear everyone's opinions.
Also, I think their mobile games and consoles games would be different. They would be different kinds of games that can't be really comparable. One seems like the bite size while one is the full package.

Count me in. I'm ready for some drift. =)
MK8 too?? Oh, got my interest. My Rosa will tear the competition... >: )

I guess I'm in. Never really tried competitive Mario Kart though.

Didn't Nintendo say that the mobile (smartphones) games won't be developed by their teams and that they'll oversee it?
They could make a lot of money with mobile.
