Not always. Currently yes because they seem to be every two months now (keep it up, it's perfect!) , but back in 2013/early 2014 days if I felt like wanting them every 2 weeks, even though they did them practically monthly.

I could fill in if there's an uneven number of Smash competitors.
It would make things easier I guess.

Let's see if the temporary competitors confirm or not.
I'd lose every match anyway.

I say we do it like the official tournaments. Winners and losers brackets. Only problem would be that it could take pretty long.

Some guy was accidentally leaked info at Pax that there would be a Nintendo Direct "soon." Most people agree that that means we're getting a Direct next Wednesday. I'm inclined to believe that.

I know it's weird, but for the last year and a half, literally every single time the thought enters my head that "Hm... We haven't gotten a Direct in a while. Isn't it about time for a new one to crop up?," a Direct comes out within the week. Every. Single. Time. To the point where the last three Directs were outright perfectly predicted by me. I feel like I basically have Nintendo's release science down, lol.

The pattern agrees with the 'leak' and my and many people's popular prediction of having it next wednesayd.

But I am never going to forget the time where I predicted that Rosalina (with Luma being used some way) shall be revealed in a Smash Bros trailer in the December Direct 2013, 3-4 months before it happened. It was the first newcomer reveal since E3.

The Directs last year were by far my favorite. I much prefer Directs that focus on only one game, rather than having Directs that focus on multiple games. I hate that they went back to the old way, because they always end up disappointing. There was not one single-game-focused Direct that wasn't fantastic, where as most multiple-game directs are disappointing. I can only think of two that were great: The one that revealed XCX, and the one that revealed Hyrule Warriors.

Meanwhile, both Smash Directs were awesome, the Tomodatchi Life Direct almost made me buy the game, the Mario Kart 8 Direct was amazing, the Hyrule Warriors Direct was great, the Bayonetta 2 direct was fantastic, and the two recent XCX Japanese-only Directs hype me through the roof. Not one of them was just good, and definitely not disappointing.

Oh right, I forgot about those previous claims about a Direct coming. I'm still skeptic, but if a ND is going to happen, it does need to happen now. I don't think one will happen before E3 except strictly for Splatoon. I'll gladly welcome any ND anytime. They just cheer me up : )

Also sounds like you're an ND detector. Maybe you should report when you get a feeling of one coming soon, haha...
