XCX still impresses me more overall thanks to its sheer scope and detail, but Bayo 2 does have better character models and likely a performance advantage too.

I noticed framerate drops in Bayo 2. I'd rather have a stable 30 fps. If this was made by Nintendo it would've been 60 fps without any drops.

Xenoblade will have framerate drops. I'll say that.
But I'm willing to bet Xenoblade will look a lot better on the actual Wii U.
