Oh, well. It's Nintendo, who the h*ll knows what they are thinking.

That's because of the artbook, and extras added to the bundle makes it bigger.. They made it verticle to show the beautiful doll, probably.

To make myself clear, from Clyde's pic I thought it was a special edition of the game containing an artbook or something like that because it looked like those for Zelda or Smash

But the artbook is also wide, not tall...

In any case, only God knows why Nintendo does the things they do. And I'm not even sure he/she/it completely understands them.
