I mean if I should get the 3DS version or the Wii version. 

The 3DS version will (hopefully) be a lot easier to find, but the Wii U is probably superior.

Nintendo news of 06/02/2015:

  • Media Create: Last week, the 3DS sold 36k units (a tiny boost from lsat week) and the Wii U sold 6.8k units (oh boy). The Top selling games were: Devil Survivor 2 with 53k units, YW2.5 with 28k units, Yowamushi Pedal with 21k units, Pokemon ORAS with 14k units, Kirby and TRC 13k units, MH4G 11k units, SSB3DS 9k units, SSBU 6k units, and MK8 5k units.
  • A Legend of Zelda live-action Netflix show? It's a roumor, but don't say it too loud... It's a secret to everybody.
  • Iwata gave a few details on Nintendo's Quality of Life plans... Education? What?
  • Xenoblade Chronicles 3D releases on April 10th! Amiibo support is confirmed.
  • As you all know, Japan had today a Xenoblade Chronicles X direct. It spawned a ton of information, like resolution or some of its online functionalities. It is 22.7 GB in size (damn. That's huge for a 1st party Wii U game), it will cost what equivaluates to ~70$ (in Japan), and there was a Wii U bundle announced (in Japan).
  • Ahm... Nintendo's comeback plans? Ok... Real talk: Nintendo plans to add cheap software (smartphone games) to 3DS, which will result for them to make "normal levels of profit" in 2017. Ok, those topics are not exactly related, but I blame the article.


Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Ugh, why must the wait for XCX be so long! What's worse is that we know it's coming, but we don't know when. So there will be loads of information up in April (which will be tough to avoid for me), but who knows how long after it'll be until we can play it.

Fortunately, all signs point to it being worth the wait.

My guess (or is it hope?) is that they'll give a release date for the west at E3, and it wouldn't surprise me if it was September or early October, leaving some room for Zelda in November.
