I have only smoked during a week,in my finalist trip (i think this is the correct way of saying correct me if im wrong).
But after that i said "i will only smoke on special ocasions" but i have to admit it is highly addicting and it should be banned from this world all together...I

Why can't you just take responsibility and stop smoking youself?

I don't see how using the government monopoly on force to charge, arrest, fine and harm the reputations of all people who made the choice to smoke cigarettes.

Like i stated i dont smoke, but am i harmed by other people that smoke ...yes i am. The world would be healthier without cigarettes there is no good coming from them just an illusion of a probable escapism or temporary relaxation,i dont want cigarettes and neither should anyone on this planet therefore ban the damn thing.

How we ban them that is debatable but as long as there is no violence its ok for me .

No good will come from banning it either. Same goes for alcohol. I don't choose to smoke or drink even though I could buy it if I chose to, but banning it will solve nothing.

Dont care if I get backlash on agreeing with you!

Edit: Oh seems like more and more people are agreeing with this notion!

+2

I got yo back brutha. I'll face the backlash with you if necessary. DOWN WITH CIGARETTES!!!

And why do you wish to apply force to people who wish to decide what goes into their body?

+10 I totally agree with you. Ridiculous law! It seems that the govnerment thinks adults from 18+ can't think for themselves anymore?

Agreed. If cigarette smoke ONLY hurt those who actually smoke them, then fuck 'em, let 'em smoke. But the fact is, it hurts innocent bystanders, second hand smoke is deadly and you can get sick and even eventually die just from being AROUND smokers. Not hyperbole, FACTS.

And sorry smokers out there, you have zero right to bitch, whine or complain about anything. There is not and shouldn't be any such thing as "smokers rights". What you do is a sick, disgusting habit, you are pathetic drug-addicted junkies hurting those around you, and in my personal experience, most smokers are selfish, inconsiderate cocks, IE they don't give much if any thought to blowing their smoke into your air-space. And quest frankly, I don't care if you have a PHD and an IQ of 200+, if you smoke, you forfeit any and all claims to intelligence, simply put.

So yes, smoking should be outlawed worldwide. But it won't be any time soon, because there's too much $$$$$$ tied up in it, and not enough people are smart enough to give a shit. And to people on here trying the tired and flat out incorrect "personal freedom" gig, just stop. You should not have the personal freedom to smoke something that it's smoke can kill others who choose NOT to smoke and live cleanly, any more than you should have the personal freedom to run around stabbing people. Both are forms of assault, and you should not have the personal freedom to do something that hurts others. So yes, it should be banned, and no, there literally is zero intelligent, solid arguments in favor of smoking being legal.

I'll just say here that I've lived most of my life with a daily smoker (roughly 20 years or so), and I'm just fine. So are my brothers, fortunately, who have also spent a good part of their lives around him too. Take that as you will.

I won't address the rest of your post, for obvious reasons...

For everyone here hoping for banning I hope something you enjoy doing gets banned. The shit doesnt hurt anyone but the user and doesnt stink up the public unless you are < a few feet from someone exhaling and even that is only for a second or so. It also provides the government with a ton of tax revenue. I dont smoke but it does more for the greater good than harm.

... Actually it harms people around the smoker too, and stinks up some places really bad, like the public transport around here, because all the school kids think it's cool to smoke on the buses, just about every bus I go on smells like smoke and there's discarded cigs and ash all over the floor and seats, and it's generally not a nice environment to be in... thankfully I've switched to walking to work for the majority of the time now...

(PS. Schools around here use public transport for their students, there aren't any dedicated school buses for any of the schools in the area... I wouldn't mind if there were, since I wouldn't be on the same bus as the kids...)

How does it harm people around the smoker. If you are talking about second hand there is not enoug proof that is statistically signifigant in proving that it causes any harm. Theres a reason why the anti smoking lobby has trouble getting smoking banned in most states.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

smoking bad. people do what want tho. ban fatty from mcdonalds same thing cant do it.

I agree cigarettes should be banned indoors. But raising the limit to buy or outlawing smoking outdoors is just strange.

But then again I'm more against smoking weed in public. Just being near the stuff clogs up my nose and even though it's illegal, people smoke it everywhere around here. I don't mind if people want to smoke it in their homes or car, but I can't stand when they do it around me.

Also I'm allergic to the stuff they put in e-cigarettes. Whenever someone is smoking one of those around me, I have a hard time breathing.

Eh, while i'm anti-banning shit.  I'm not sure if cigarettes could survive a prohibition.

The only positive benefit Tobacco gives is a respite from the effects of Tobacco withdrawl.

A banning followed by a sceintific explination about how pointless cigarette and cigar smoking is could feasibly kill smoking in 3-4 generations.

Tobacco is the modern version of eating lead.
