To celebrate Halloween, Oddworld is releasing some never seen before screenshots of Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty, a lovingly-crafted current and next-gen version of the game that started it all – the original Abe’s Oddysee.

The screenshots show the dramatic visual improvements the team have been working on, showcasing some of the in-game sections alongside a sampling of the updated cut-scenes, all of which are rendered in-engine.

Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty will be released on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PS VITA, Wii U, PC, Mac and Linux. Stay tuned to the all new Oddworld.com and our official Twitter page for updates on New ‘n’ Tasty and our other games, including – for the first time – Stranger’s Wrath for mobile devices.

I think Strangers Wrath HD was announced as well, we haven´t heard anything about the release date though :D

The Oddworld games all have a very, very unique feel to them.

On one hand, they are deeply unsettling, the dystopia they show, the enslaved moguns (that was Abe´s race..right?), the art direction with disgusting looking creatures..

...but then there is Abe bursting with charme, with slap stick comedy elements

....there really is nothing quite like it

Had this game on the original PlayStation...

Now I don't know which version to get PS4 or Vita? Maybe if the Remote Play would be good PS4 version would be the one to get. Overall I would love to have it on the go. Cross buy would sort out all my troubles :D

Cool and all. But they could finally make a new game instead of just remakes. They should already be working on The Brutal Ballad of Fangus Klot.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!
