Have you played Vanquish? And if you did, how does it compare?

Of course I have :) It's not on Vanquishes level from a gameplay perspective, but the story and characters are miles better, and the gameplay is about as good as it gets for a Gears-style tps (which it is). If you liked Vanquish this has something of the same flavour to it...just without the rocket boots. Sci-fi environments, big (and small) robot enemies, goofy Japanese story and characters parodying - or playing into, depends on your perspective - American action movie stereotypes. An all around good time.

Yes! It indeed sounds like an all-around good time. I can live without the rocket boots Goofy Japanese story is a must.

I was gonna get it on my last purchase round, but a cheap Rune Factory Oceans stopped me. I don't have an excuse anymore, though.

YESS!! I wanted to buy Soul Sacrifice when it was released I knew it would be best just to wait and now I get it for free (: awesome!
