well you talk about a video game that costed tens of millions to make infront of big companies like autodesk and know the video will be shown to hunderds of thousands then see how you handle your breath.

Oh I believe it. This was going to be a game I picked up at a later date when the price dropped but thats quickly being changed to a day one buy.

true that.... I thought he was about to pass out at some point... great job though, we are not at motion picture quality level yet but that is a great step forward... I know the next gen is not even out but I can't wait to see what's next in 10 or 20 years of time.... it will be just crazy what our kids (and us) will be playing then xD

The game certainly looks impressive and i can understand every bit of excitment it is getting. i have no plans of getting an xbox one now, but its certainly a possibility down the line, and if i do in the future this will certainly be on my radar if i do, specially that i love the roman/gladiator/spartan settings in games/movies/tv shows. however i have two concerns when it comes to this game, one that it is developed by cryteck, no doubt about it that they do wonders with the technicial and art style of the games they make, but their games are just, ugh... i dont know what to describe them as, ill just say they certainly didnt impress me with crysis 2. the second is the gameplay, i dont mind the QTE's as much as people say, but to me it just seems as the same thing over and over again with just different finishing moves, so thats a concern, i hope im wrong though.

i wonder what will happen then, i really hope for one thing though, is that video game developers start to think that having a game look realistic doesnt mean its good. i would really like it that when hardware can achieve realistic graphics that the devs would focus more on art style then dupliciating real life, as it would give us a way to experience new things and worlds that we cant see any where and to make things that are fake, look real. Avatar did a great job at that IMO, they made a sci-fi world, that is so different that the real world, but it looked so real, so believable. thats what i hope they do, instead of just trying to  duplicate reality.

I'm sorry, but the exploding rock thing still makes zero sense... There's nothing wrong with making a game about Rome, but when you start trying to turn a Roman battle into Iwo Jima, things start to get kindof ridiculous...

ill try to explain. but first you have to clarify what "exploding rock thing" is lol

yes I don't think Crytek are good story tellers but from what I understand they do have a real director running the show... so I guess they are not really making the story themselves per say... that might save the game on the story part....
other than that.... if a game is great a repetitive gameplay is not really a concern for me Assassin creed or many sand box games are repetitive but story, environment or straight up fun can save a game IMO... with a 100 kill scene I'm sure it will be fine for me if the rest is as good as it seems.....

agreed on graphics
