Forums - Gaming Discussion - Battlefield 4′s Campaign is about 4 Hours Long

4 bloody hours? Shit better be made of gold if they want me to buy it within the next 15 years.

I liked BF3's campaign a lot. It was exactly what it should have been: A straight forward modern war with a few twists and turns that doesn't try too hard to be complicated and edgy. It was very interesting how it explored the idea that (SPOILER) killing innocents (Even Americans) may be worth it to save more innocents.

Also what do you guys want from the campaign? It's a multiplayer game. There are plenty of SP games out there for you to play...

Did anyone expect anything better? Really?

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

That better not be true. I like playing the SP for both BF and COD just because of the action lol.

8/10 from gamespot and ign

Pathetic neglect of single-player, but it's not like I expected some epic SP from a modern FPS.

Black Ops 1 and 2 had great campaigns. Every Halo campaign has been a blast. There are many FPS games that had solid campaigns.

OT: i'm fine with a 4 hour campaign. If its really fun I'll play it multiple times.

I expect variety, good pacing, and well constructed setpieces, BF3 delivered none of these for me.

Meh, everyone knows Battlefield isn't about the campaign. It's just included for bragging rights and shits and giggles honestly.

All of this, of course, is just my opinion.

Skyrim 100%'d. Dark Souls 100%'d.
Dark Souls > Skyrim.
Halo 4 is the best damn FPS since Halo 3.
Proud pre-orderer of 2 PS4's and an Xbox One.

Currently Playing: Dark Souls II, South Park
Playstation 4: MGS V GZ, Killzone: Shadow Fall, NBA 2k14.

It had great pacing and it went from infantry -> Tank -> Jet.  What kind of variety do you want?
