I think I've outgrown Pokémon and I simply don't feel like playing it. To be honest the only Pokémon game I actually finished was Emerald. Every other Pokémon game I start up, have fun, but somewhere mid-story I lose interest because my Pokémon list has become a royal mess (optimal stats?/male/female/special moves/CUT/FLY/why is this pokémon in my list if I no longer own it, it evolved, it was traded, it has someones name on it/aaaaaaaaaaaargh) and due to my organizational OCD I give up.

Then I went ahead and got hooked on Final Fantasy XIV Realm Reborn. Healing the shit out of everyone as a White Mage and having a blast on ps3. :D

Problem, my friend now doesn't even talk to me. He's into Pokémon and I'm sure he's trying to punish me for not buying it by ignoring me.

What the hell I'm supposed to do? I hate this situation.

If he was really your friend, he would be so no matter what game you choose to play.

I've moved on from Pokemon as well. Tired of the same experience, every single time.

I would think it's the other way around.

haha, nope, I'm keeping my MMO addiction under control. I did call and talked to him a few times, it's just getting old that he never calls back, etc. It's been like this since the Pokémon release date.

Your friend will talk with you. Don't worry. Those who have outgrown of pokemon try "ni no kuni". Its the "pokemon" game that was supposed to evolve and run in console. Its great.

Maybe it's an age thing, I don't know, but dood doesn't sound like much of a friend.

But all in all, if he is a friend, he'll forget about it.  Just do your own thing.
