Well then Activision will be in trouble then because rumour has it it needs to sell ~10 million copies to break even....

Which would place it's budget at north of $300m and make it the most expensive game of all time. The advertising blitz for Destiny is going to be insane.

Considering what Activision has said "The potential is huge. It’s a sizeable investment. It’s probably one of the biggest investments in a new IP that’s ever been made in this industry. We wouldn’t be making that investment if we didn’t believe in the potential." and “Our goal is to make Destiny the biggest new IP launch in history." I could see it being true. Bungie is huge now with 350+ people (and still staffing up) working full time on Destiny. Add in a $200m advertising campaign and there we are.
