Yoshida first confirmed that Playstation 4 does automaic cashing to games, and its not the mandatory install. This is really huge news for Playstation 4, it basically mean, if you want to play CoD Ghosts and Killzone, you won't need 100GB of space (50GB each,) you'll just need 50GB to cache them. That's so cool!

Just ignore the part about CoD Ghosts because this game needs a mandatory install of 49GB... I guess mandatory install will be a dev choice is PS4... good new for me.

Hang on, so when you launch, it transfers stuff to the PS4 HDD and then deletes it when you stop playing?

I would rather just install it

Lots of PS3 games are the same way. It's all seemless in the background and as a user you should not even know it's happening.

Granted a full install option would be nice since everybody loves options!

Dependes what the size of the cache

For example.. if it is a 2GB cache then I prefer it over installation.. now if it is a 20GB cache I prefer installation.
