Farcry 1 (PC) was awesome for its time. I was having trouble to run it at 800 × 600 resolution at that time. But the gameplay was great. But their skills in gameplay department have worsened since then. Recent have are proof of that.

Because the hardware was shitting itself with higher settings, that's all.

Its quite ironic that a company like Crytek is talking about hardware limitations.

1. During the Crysis 1 years they heavily bashed consoles and made statements that, Crysis isn't possible in consoles.

2. Before Crysis 2 release they forgot "weak" consoles cant handle their game. They sacrificed visuals and wanted to talk about gameplay.

3. Before Crysis 3 release they are infamous for making too many statements.

4. At the beginning of this year they bashed consoles (thats true though) consoles and praised PC for its superior power.

My point is not to bring console vs pc rivalry because we all know the outcome. PC will always be leagues ahead of console. But again consoles are favored by many because of affordability.

My point is, they are nothing but constantly side changing developers who dont have a opinion of their own. They did only one good game (Crysis 1) and its expansion was great. But they have yet to prove themselves in gameplay department and story department.
