Forums - Sony - What will happen to the PS3 we love?

It'll continue being supported by madden nfl for 20 more years.

My PS3 will still be alive and kicking for a few more years. I still have games that I want getting release next year and I need to make more money to buy me a next-gen anyway. lol!

Nothing. I don't intend to get anything next-gen until late next year.
And even then, I missed a lot of PS3 games, so it stays.

I'm not getting a PS4 anytime soon but if I did, my PS3 would just move to a different room with an HDTV. It still has great games, Blu Ray, Netflix, music, web browser, etc. Even if it didn't have games, the PS3 still has tons of features that I would take advantage of.

I think I'll go for the double set-up in my new house coming this spring. Til then, PS4 only.

It will stay hooked up to the TV so I can play GT6!!

I just celebrated my ps3's first month.. Please don't start threads like that, i feel offended...
But seriously, it's still going to have at least 2 years ahead.

I'll keep it around since the PS4 won't be backwards compatible, and I have a huge amount of games I haven't played.

Stayin' put where it is in my "office". I will need to do a bit of re-arranging to make sure everything fits under the television but I sure they will be room for all my consoles, cable TV box, media players, PC etc.,

PS3 and PS4 on the same TV, different input?
