Around the Network

There isn't really a point in showing off what the gamepad can do, as none of their mainline games so far even use it in a significant way, meaning more than just no brainer stuff like maps, menus, and off TV play.

Personally I think Nintendo Land is a very underrated game, I really liked it a lot. As a Nintendo Fan it's just perfect because you recognize every little thing in it. Also the credits are god like.

But the Mario/Luigi bundle will have more appeal to people. I still think if Nintendo would have launched New Super Mario Bros. 2 in late 2013 for 3DS New Super Mario Bros. U would have been a better system seller all along.

Like Oniyide, savinsn, and Th3PANO said, NL gets a lot of flak for not being the system seller it was suppose to be. But as a stand alone game(especially a free stand alone game) it does a lot of things right; and actually fun to play with multiple people. I agree with delphin in that Nintendo's mainline seem to also have no proper use for the gamepad. MarioKart 8 was a wasted chance to show off the gamepad's potential for multiple views and maybe incorporate multi-screen tech (using 3DS) for multi-player. Even their current system seller SM3DW doesn't make use of the gamepad as well as how NL uses it. Hopefully it's due to crunching the software release as soon as possible rather than a sign of brain drain on Nintendo's part. The Skylander's bundle is an amazing value and hopefully would help move systems as the Wii U is really a good console despite being outgunned by the competition.

dont wanna burst your bubble but IMHO i really dont see Ninty incorporating the gamepad in their own games, maybe Zelda, but thats about it.
