I didn't even know DS3 had it. I wonder how they will emulate it on Gakai now.

They won't. They probably will just have to take out the features.

Or maybe allow DS3 compatibility, which I don't know if it's possible.

Why? No Ps3 ultilized the feature. You can use the DS4.

MGS HD collection came to mind lol

Yeah I know, very few games used it. I'm just saying if they want better emulation, say with Gaikai, then allowing DS3 compatibility would eliminate any need to go back to those few games and patch those features out.

Yeah, makes sense. Hopefully they detail how this Gaikai streaming is going to actually work. It's still not very clear.

Currently own:

It was used for MGS, not sure if any other games utilized it.

A cool feature, but I can see why they took it out.

Do you know if they made it functional on the Metal Gear Solid Collection? Makes me want to try it out myself

Yup you can. If you press it lightly, you hold your gun out. If you apply more pressure, you shoot. =P

It was absolutely crucial for MGS2 and MGS3, as well as FIFA I believe. Shame they removed it.

Good riddance. Made doing consistent combos impossible in The Bouncer and the only game I played that benefited was Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3. It made the buttons on the Dual Shock 2 and 3 feel mushy. All we need are analog triggers (I'm looking at you, Wii U) and it's all good.

Evergrace used the feature. Depending on how much pressure you put on the button when attacking, you'd use a certain amount of stamina for your attacks. Your attacks did damage to the proportion of stamina used, so it was more beneficial to use a PSX controller which didn't have the feature, so each attack used all the stamina, then just wait until it refilled which was pretty quick.

This is extremely old news. I'm suprised this is news to people.

Is this in regards to pressure for passes, crosses and shots?  Be curious how that affects things.

I'm not sure if it's the strength or the length of the button press. But yeah, whatever it is, it makes the pass / cross / shot more powerful.

you just proved your a bad fifa player bro its just the amount of time you have pressed on the button that matters.
