I think the telling aspect has been a successful hand held in the 3DS was built in part with that feature central to the design and yet we are seeing even it move away a bit from the feature. If it cannot succeed even within a Trojan horse of sorts then think it is safe to say the market is not crazy about adopting it.

I hate 3D both in movies and games. Until they can do eye-free 3D that actually WORKS, I will be otally against it. I guess most other people agree :).

Do you think 3DS works out of interest?

I hate glasses since they bridge on your nose,  Glassless works ,but you gotta keep your eyes focused.

Overall I like it. use the Nintendo Video thin on the 3DS. watch mr download

Newer passive 3d televisions come with glasses that are essentially weightless.  You can't even tell you are wearing them.  I will say though, after 1.5 - 2 or so hours your eyes do feel strained and a break is required for sure.  I don't get the strain from movies, only gaming.  Also, if you 3D game or movie while drinking it will likely make you feel sick or get sick.  They don't go well with drinking at all.  Definitely true for me and many visitors.

3D TV's are expensive and not worth it.

The only 3D that is striving in the one on the 3DS, and tbh most have it off most of the time.

Crysis 3 on Xbox 360 looks amazing on my Sony 1080p 3D TV. I hope 3D continues to improve so we´ll be playing lots of games in 3D in the future. It really enhances the immersion for me.

The only 3D title I was impress by on PS3 is super stardust hd. All the other title would have ghosting, probably because of framerate not being consistent, and downgraded graphic. In the end, I found that using the TV 2D to 3D feature is actually better most of the time. If all game would be clean like super stardust hd im sure it would gain in popularity. You really need to see this game run in full HD 3D on a big screen, its amazing. About passive or active, passive glasses may be cheap and light, but they also cut the resolution in half, 1080P looks like 540P and 720P looks like 360P.
