It's definitely odd, only other retailer exclusive game I can recall was one of those operation rainfall Nintendo JRPG's when it was localized and I assumed that was part of the localization deal, I wonder what kind of deal this was for.  


Target did this with Taylor Swift's Red CD. They got the deluxe version (6 bonus tracks) exclusively.  I always thought retailers played the exclusive content like system manufacturers

agreed.  i miss the days when you could just buy what you wanted where you wanted.  retailer exclusive pre-order bonuses are dumb enough but now full out retailer exclusive games.  this better not become common place.

What would have been a wise move would be to have the 360 version exclusive at walmart, packed in with a 360 4GB for $99.

I don't mind persay, unless of course it allows said retailers to bump the price up, virtually having a monopoly.
