I'm actually being bullied because I'm the last one to buy Pokemon in my class. True story.

Thats just horrible !

Take the high road and realise that you are smarter/more mature than they !

I guess the same people buy Fifa/ CoD every year ?

Read it again.

They most certainly don't play Fifa / COD.

I´m stupid....I missed "the last one" :(...In my defence: It was a long day !

Great that your classmates have good taste in videogames

Around the Network

you want a "mature" game play COD
you want a "childish" game play a POKEMON

I will admit this... Nintendo's market is mainly for younger people... they will introduce this game to the kids that just had their 8th birthday.... how many kids had a 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th bidrthday this year? A LOT.... they see those numbers as potential market.... they can't only target the audience who bought the first gen. They need the new generation of gamer...

Nintendo does not own the Pokemon IP.

Nintendo does hold some copyright materials relating to Pokemon however. Furthermore, the Pokemon Company owns and controls the Pokemon IP and merchandising + marketing relating to the franchise - Nintendo holds 32% of that company.

...doesn´t 1/3rd belong to Creatures Inc. ? Isn´t creatures Inc a subsidary of Nintendo ?

I never got the hang of this actually :/ *scratches head*

No Creatures Inc. is not a Nintendo subsidary. Common myth.

Ahhh ! Thanks for the clarification, I always imagined that they were like Intelligent Systems and Hal wholly owned by Nintendo but just not under the EAD banner

...Hal and Intelligent Sys are owned by Nintendo...right D: ???

Man I love this game and I'm to be 30 soon

I haven't completed a game in a long time, not even played for 50h within a week since Zelda SS on Wii

I love being kiddy

My only gripe with the series is I wish they tried something different with the story.

Yep, I agree. It's always the same cheesy stuff.

And by different, I don't mean necessarily darker and more dramatic. Just want something different, and interesting.

Take for example, Zelda. The latest game, Skyward Sword, has an infinitely more interesting story than the latest Pokemon. And Zelda: SS still retains gameplay that made the series popular in the first place. And yeah, all ages can still enjoy SS. There is no question that Pokemon has evolved gameplay-wise, but its story leaves much to be desired. This isn't Mario we're talking about here. Pokemon's single player is very much a story/campaign mode.

Imagine X and Y but with a story I actually care about. Could possibly be the best Pokemon game ever.

No. Make it darker or edgier

You sound more and more like hardcore and mature forum posters every day.

Your transition is nearly complete.

He already bought a Vita, so he's past the point of no return.

On topic: Grow up, then the problem will solve itself.

Flawless.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

i wan tmuh dark and broown matooore Pekamun FPS.

Really? I don't

Have you read the HP books? She didn't change the world or the basic premise, the characters just grew up and things got more serious (while still retaining its humour).

You're comparing a game to... not a game. It doesn't work in that regard, because story is always peripheral to the experience.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

So basically you have grown up and Pokemon hasn't.

I wish they didn't own Paper Mario...
