They are.
While this story was related to the Xbox One, a guy on Reddit who pre-ordered an Xbox One Day One Editiion was informed his pre-order which included Watch Dogs was canceled. He contacted the store as well as the Target customer support to no avail. There will be another wave of Xbox One's available to pre-order, but he isn't given preference or automatically getting it. He has to buy it when they're available, while they're available.
I'm sure to Target, this is a logical decision, but to gamers who belived they had a pre-order locked in and in the case of the Xbox One a Day One Edition locked in, this sucks and is entirely unfair.
Note: Apologies if anyone feels I am taking this off topic by mentioning the Xbox One in this thread, but this is more of a unversal issue with Target and not specific to the PS4 and Xbox One.

I'm sure you did silly.
People arent buying the system for a multiplat/multigen game and a facebo.... i mean a no name social racer. But it sucks that they wont get an option for another game

Yes they will. Get their red card and you get 20bucks off a ps4. For me its 60
| CGI-Quality said: I've been encouraing people all week to just wait on the numbers. I think you'll find that some forum goers wishful/hopeful thinking will rule more than any substantial amount of pre-orders cancelled. Amazon has WATCH_DOGS folks covered, so Target needs to get their act together here. Never realized that DriveClub was so important all of a sudden either, but that happens when as ammo becomes depleted. :) All-in-all, I wouldn't worry about PS4 sales, at all. |
Exactly, i dont dare say no one wanted to play them because im sure there were a bunch of folks. Im just saying niether of those games should be a deal breaker. Especially considering they arent cancelled just delayed. The people arent going to say "welp... since i cant play those games immediatly im never getting the system even when i was willing to purchase it at launch for the games. Now, i just dont give a shit about them when they launch." Those people would be few and far between and seriously need to go see someone about having ADD or something
Target is really screwing over those people. I've never pre-ordered with Target before, and now I definitely never will.
I am the Playstation Avenger.
