The American media is giving this game universally bad reviews and $50 is a lot of money to spend. This doesn't look good for the sales for this game and I'm getting less and less interested with each review

The only game I could think of is W101, and that game is far from a flop (as a game, the reviews were rubbish...and the sales too) Maybe he will come back to clarify....or his intention was just drive by trolling, who knows... |
Well just about every game not Mario or Nintendoland can be considered a flop sales wise for the Wii U, including the Wonderful 101.
Reception wise, isn't every third party port released on the Wii U supposed to be inferiour than the Ps3/360 counterpart? I'm just saying. Facts are facts. While the WIi U does indeed have some great games, it also has some great flops.
However the 10 year old zelda remake looks amazing, even being 10 years old. It's amazing how well the gameplay of the Wind waker still holds up to this day.
Mario 3d looks absolutley amazing. I'm honestly jealous I won't be able to play it (getting the Ps4 for my only next gen console for now). I was jealous of Mario Galaxy, but this is complete envy. I REALLY want that game lol. It actually innovates for a mario game!!!
Check out the reviews on this thread:

The game has been recieving favorable reviews
IGN has been doing really poor and unprofessional reviews lately

Theres no winning with reviewers.
If they slow down Sonic to give the controls more preicsion its: Not enough speed!
If they make Sonic fast, it needs to be on rails or theres no precision: Its an on-rails fest! Boo!
How do you please this croud?
I for one am a fan of the orginal sonic games, so slowing down Sonic to give room for some platforming is a good thing. I'm afraid i cant agree with that point of the review.
The level design and the awkwards controls i cant talk about without playing it.
Personally i just dont like the art style and i would like to see Sonic continue on the art style of Sonic 06 or Sonic generations. I'm not a fan of these galaxy like levels.
I didn't even like Colours tbh, and that was supposedly the best Sonic game in years. So there you go!
Judging by the reviews this game is gonna be like Sonic Unleashed; a Sonic game that plays differently, either it appeals to you or it doesn't.

This is really surprising and disappointing. Reviews seems to be all over the place. For every 80 there's a 50.
The only silver lining is that the review from The Escapist says that Lost World plays like a game from 1991, although the author was using that as an insult for some reason.

Lol! What?? That's a goddamn compliment!!
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
