Me as well, I saw this design the day before the game came out (thanks to tbone) and instantly wanted x over y. And aron helped me pick as well.

In all honesty prob one of the best games I've played in a very long time. Ive already put in over 50 hours, which not only is that rare for me to do, but it also usually takes me weeks or months to reach that many hours.

I can't convince you but if you like adventure games paired with JRPG styles that allows you to have 100s of different strategies while also allowing pvp then this is something you should get.

All i can really say is I am enjoying it fosho :D

Edit: Seriously though, there's not much else to say after reading the majority of posters here; pretty much everything has been said. I'm 30 hours in and cannot stop playing it. The little touches like being able to see TMs compatibility in the menu, draw distance, restore option, diverse areas, 3D Pokemon models, gorgeous animations, gen one starters, mass variety of Pokemon in each route, when you use Surf, you see your actual Pokemon instead of that blob. WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED :D

Edit (2): The online is the best in the series. Everything is streamlined right from the bottom screen, incuding features like the Pokemon, Pokedex, Bag, Save, etc, all in one button press. PSS is extremely fast allowing trading, battling, wonder trade (highly addictive), and a few others I forgot. Lists show players already met, friends, passerby, and aquatainces.
