I really like my gamertag....and I would only let my real name be seen by friends, otherwise I would not put it.

Don't want.

exactly

whatever. gamers i've found are like youtube/forum goers.

They like acting like assholes and thus wouldn't wnat to use their real name.

You guys mention facebook and stuff, but on those sites people tend to act civil cause people know their real name and face. you really think that these little kids or "mature" people who love trolling and being pricks online will want to use their real names?

If you know their real name, you probably know them in real life and can ask/text/email them for their tag. Not difficult.

huh?  Im not over reacting, the feature will come and I wont use it.  Simple as that.  Others can do as they please.

well if you thought it was a good idea to put your bank account details in first name and password in surname, then is probably for the best.

I think it would be cool to be able to do it with the people on your friend's list and I'd probably use that feature. But as far as using my real name for all to see, no thanks. Stayin' on the DL is how I like to roll at this point in my life.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

I think the real name situation should only be viewable to people who you want to see it, otherwise the gamertag with suffice.
