Neogaf is my source. Someone was saying that the dips only occur in very extreme conditions like when several people are throwing grenades at the same time.

Also, your source doesn't say by how much and how often it dips below 60fps.


Neogaf, perfect. Tales from my ass. You are trying to talk yourself out of it. Stable means in every case, now you say "in very extreme conditions" which is what basically my link says. So "stable" is wrong, easy as this. I don't say this will ruin the game, of course. But be careful what you say because perhaps someone will do like me and ask for your (hopefully next time more credible) source.


That quote about the grenades is from Gurialla games themseleves from the eurogamer expo, they said it is 60, but you can force it to dip if you get 24 players to all meet up and throw grenades in the same place, Other companies would just be happy to say its 60fps and not put honest qualifiers on it. 

for all intense purposes its 60fps stable as said by its developer.

What the hell, dude? I read it on GAF but I didn't remember where exactly the info was from. Thank you to the other poster for providing more info and by the looks of it, the member attended the presentation made by Guerilla.

Haha I played Knack at Digital Nations and the Sony rep was saying how Knack runs at 1080p and 60fps. And I believe him, it looks gorgeous however when i went to play Forza 5 on the Xbox One it just keep lagging, the frame rate was dropping below 30 very often, hard to see the Xbox One running games a 60fps with what i saw, but perhaps I only played on a dev kit?? I dont know.

the xbone devkit sat behind me runs forza 5 september build at 60fps most of the time, but suggesting that it never, ever, dips bellow 60fps is silly, it does, fairly often, especially when loading data or displaying non-game notifications, also does NOT run at 60fps when snapped next to something else in UI, not even close.

There will not be a single retail disk based game on xbox or ps4 that is so hard locked to 60fps that it never dips below.

Probably not worth your breath, GG were honest about it, so to people that means its never 60, where as other devs will just say 60 knowing fine well it will have dips and people will demand that means locked!
