Forums - Sony - Sony working with Ubisoft to manage Watch Dogs PS4 bundle pre-orders

Man, the Watch Dogs version they had ready must be really shitty to make them take such drastic measures, to cancel 5 system launch, that is crazy: WiiU, Ps3, 360, One and Ps4, Jesus Christ.
And it sucks to Sony having faith in Ubi and making these bundles, now they have to deal with the elephant in the room once more, the people who bought will probably be cry-babies about it and will not acept a diferent game.

I was thinking about buying this at launch too, I guess I will wait for a little while then

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Pathetic.

Sony need to get their finger out. How could they let this happen? Dont they keep progress on 3rd parties? Especially when said 3rd party has the 5th most pre-ordered game bundled with your launch console.

They are probably going to move those people over to assassin's creed or something. Not acceptable really, whoever has pre-ordered this console bundle should have their pic of any launch game.

Well, this is hardlly Sony´s fault man, Ubisoft screwed this one big time, and not only for Sony, the poor WiiU was expecting a good title for the hollydays, so Nintendo got served too. And Microsoft, in two diferent consoles, the ONE and the 360. So, come on, sony is not Ubi´s mother.

Sony working with Ubisoft to manage Watch Dogs PS4 bundle pre-orders

Uncertainties over how delay will affect PS4 bundle orders.

Sony has said that it is working with Ubisoft and its retail partners while it considers how best to handle pre-orders placed for the Watch Dogs PlayStation 4 bundle.

In a statement provided to VideoGamer.com in response to Watch Dogs' delay this evening, SCEE said:

"Obviously this is [a] very recent announcement, but we will be working very closely both with Ubisoft and with our partners at retail to manage this situation."

The platform holder did not say whether it would be working with Ubisoft to replace Watch Dogs with an alternate Ubisoft title or if it would be pulling the bundle SKU altogether.

The Watch Dogs PS4 bundle was announced alongside three other official bundles earlier this month, which bundled a copy of the game in with the console.

Ubisoft announced that it had delayed Watch Dogs into spring 2014 earlier this evening.

Sony pissed at Ubi?  Im pissed at Ubi.  Was looking forward to playing this on the PS4 at release (had the preorder).

Guess I will be keeping my Knack preorder (Hopefully Knack will end up being worth playing by Launch.  I had such high hopes for it).
