and LOTS of others , but hey , go on with the hypocrisie like you usually do .

Actually i was completely on topic with those posts.  I was talking about the commercial with every post and i stand behind what i said but if you look at the op i clearly say that I HAVE been guilty of doing it before.

Just because something isnt hyping a product and can be viewed negatively doesnt mean it is off topic.

Perfect Strangers, Family Matters, Full House, Alf, Doogie Howser...  Sorry I was transported back to the late 80s/early 90s.

But.. wouldn't that kill 90% of the threads and make them really boring? I mean the best posters here on this site are the ones with infinite derailing unpunished troll modprotected powers.. with the others respecting the first poster when one of them posts and then try to top that derailing unpunished troll modprotected post with their own derailing unpunished troll modprotected post..

lol good post xD

But really it isnt that often.  I think negative comments may be viewed as derailment sometimes, but those are just opinions.

I would say something that is completely off topic or something off topic just to stir shit up.

Example that has happened often is Xbox Live and PSN.

Topic -  PSN Gets Cross Game Chat
User 1 -  Doesnt matter, Xbox Live is still way better

It isnt talking about Xbox live or which one is better. I would consider that off topic just to stir shit up.  Certain things people say are just inevitable to cause an argument.  Specifically when it comes to bringing up a different platform just to prove it is better or to downplay something.

or

Topic -  Xbox One is coming out November 22
User 1 -  Your posts are irrelevant because of this  reason and that reason.  This is what you should do because I dont like how you post

Here it has nothing to do with the topic and just goes straight into calling out the user to criticize their posting style when that is the mods job to do.  Also derailment

I would say there is multiple ways of derailing a thread but the two above are the ones im primarily talking about.

Probably the first time I've agreed with you on something.  But even though Kelly was hotter, Topanga had that girl next door quality to her.
