How the hell are you guys so many hours into the game but only 1-2 badges o.O?

Getting the right pokemon with the right stats or what?

My case is mostly a mix of bad luck and trying to get the right nature for the main game team. I've had terrible bad luck trying to find some of the rarer pokemons on the routes, such as Abra, Solrock/Lunatone/Kangaskhan, Absol, etc, usually it takes me almost an hour to see just one of them.

As for the pokes on my team, had to capture almost 20 Zubats to get a Jolly Nature one with good IVs and a lot of soft resets to get a Lonely Tyrunt with amazing Attack and decent Speed IVs (since it has already shit defense, not minding the defense loss).

Current PC Build

Around the Network

I have around 12 hours and I'm in camphrier town. I take a lot of time because I was trying Super Training and I capture most pokemon in a new area. So far it's pretty awesome

Ah understandable. Dayum I dont have the time or patience to be competitive :P

This will be nothing in comparison to the time i'll spend trying to get my competitive team up . Unless we have something akin to the Breeding store on B2/W2, where you could instantly hatch an egg, breeding is gonna be a major bore once again.

And i'll probably hold off until we get the Pokebank, since I need to bring my entire army of Dittos into Y, not gonna go around collecting Dittos for every nature once again (took me an entire week when I did it)

So guys, there's already an official thread for this and we have enough Pokemon XY threads clogging up the forums (not necessarily a bad thing ), so take your discussions there.

Thanks. ^_^

2 hours. I've been leveling up my Grass starter (whatever his name is), now he's at 14. The other four i've caught have so far been neglected. I know, obviously I'll have to diversify a little bit incase I run across a Trainer or wild Pokemon that is invulnerable to grass-type. I'll probably level up my Pansear as my second-in-command.
