LOVE the UI and everything about it, blows 360 out of the water on that front.

don't know what to think about this.

The UI is looking great the sounds however meh .

The Gold stuff for other family members/friends and accessing it on other consoles just sounds great. And the UI is amazing. This is the type of stuff where I expect MS to continue leading the industry in innovation and design. The activity feed Nelson was so excited about though, who cares? You can just peek at your friends list and see Dudebro16 is playing Forza 5. Or that Princess46 is watching TV.

I really like the UI. And cant wait to use all the friends and family features. The Xbox One feels like a really well thought out console from all angles.

I am loving what they are doing with the X1. Everything seems so fluid, streamlined and there are a ton of great looking features.

I believe the snap ability including the activity is more on display.  As you stated you can peak at your friends list, but if you are watching a movie, playing another game either in SP or MP, having the ability to snap in the activity center without breaking out what you are doing is benefit.  I can see MS doing more little stuff like this to enhance that multi tasking capability within the X1 to do more things at the same time without breaking out of what you are currently doing.

lol weird i had the exact opposite reaction, i thought the snapping of friends activity was quite cool, and though the UI looked sparse and boring. With so much unused space id hoped they would of used it to make the fonts bigger, not sure how readable that will be from the other side of the lounge.

But like the 360 i think we can bank on many tweaks and changes over the next 7 years.

Im so used to using Windows 8, the font looks normal. Its the same on WP8 and Windows 8. On 360 I think to. I dont know, Im sure its readable though. Tests would have been done.

Really like the Windows 8 UI. The benefits of Metro style have shown through on WP8 and my Surface. Cant wait to see it in all its glory on Xbox One.

I like that we can properly customise like on Windows 8 with Pins.
