Haven't the system updates bricked the modded Wiis? With Nintendo including them on game discs it's pretty hard to avoid them.

OT7: i had a modded PS1, but i dont think they even sold psx's back then without a chip in them haha (unless you bought it at departamental stores or something like that...) i got it as a gift (would never have paid for a non nintendo console) and they bought it at a mall they only sold modded ones, even then i only used to play 4 games, ff7, ff9, dq7 and chrono cross.

I dont know why a lot of people underestimate the mexican videogame market. In the middle and high classes, the videogame market is as big as in the US or other big markets. All of my friends (ALL of them) own a current gen console (90% own xbox 360 60% own a Wii and I only know 2 with a PS3, being like only a 4% of my friends). I think that the reason that here in Mexico the 360 is bigger than the Wii is that the 360 is the same price or even CHEAPER than the Wii (yeah I bought my Wii for 4500 pesos, thats like 420 US dollars, and bought my Xbox 360 for 3300 pesos, like 310 US dollars). A lot of my friends own both wii and 360, (myself included in that group) some just owns a 360, I can only think of 2 right now that only own a Wii and one only has a PS3. Oh and another friend has all 3 current gen consoles. And no, no one has modded their consoles that I know. Well, at least thats my experience with consoles in my state, of course they can vary from location to location.

mm cebrian: yes, of course, people who live near US, could bought a 250dlls Wii but here in Mexico the price is like 4000pesos or more

So, what about my question, is mexico in "America" like Canada?
