Let´s assume that tomorrow, From Software announces a next gen version of Dark Souls 2 will indeed happen, but no release date is given...would you be able to skip the PS3/360 version to wait for the next gen version?...if the answer is yes, how long before you cave in to your desire to play the game?

In my case, I guess around 8 months, tops...though would they release it in less than a year after the current gen version?

Given I don't own a PS3 or 360, I am prepared to wait until hell freezes over for a Wii U release.

Oh, I'll play the game at a friend's house. I may even buy it on Steam eventually. But even after all that, I'd immediately throw my money at From Soft if they announced a Wii U version -- and I don't even have a Wii U yet.

I'm willing to bet that it will only take 4 months considering that these consoles are like dressed up PC's and plus there is great documentation about both of their hardware.

as much of a demon's/dark souls a fan as i am,.. i might just skip it entirely if they don't port to next gen. i'll have a ps4 by then and a ton of games to catch up on. i'm ready to move on so...
