Foxconn makes devices for these companies.

Acer Inc. (Taiwan)
Amazon.com (United States)
Apple Inc. (United States)
ASRock (Taiwan)
Asus (Taiwan)
Barnes & Noble (United States)
Cisco (United States)
Dell (United States)
EVGA Corporation (United States)
Hewlett-Packard (United States)
Intel (United States)
IBM (United States)
Lenovo (China)
Logitech (Switzerland)
Microsoft (United States)
MSI (Taiwan)
Motorola (United States)
Netgear (United States)
Nintendo (Japan)
Nokia (Finland)
Panasonic (Japan)
Philips (Netherlands)
Samsung (South Korea)
Sharp (Japan)
Sony Ericsson (Japan/Sweden)
Toshiba (Japan)
Vizio (United States)

To zero out ps4 in the title is kinda sad when you even mention wiiu in the post.

On the other note. Nothing like having no human rights in a communist country. And this is the country on the rise in the world folks, more tyranny to follow.

The article is about the PS4 which is happening right now.  The students were required to make PS4's and not products from the other companies you listed.  This is what Foxconn decided, not Sony or Nintendo (even though they should stop using Foxconn).  The Wii-U happened a year ago, hence, it's no longer news.

Yes I know, it was in the article, hence I was question the title since many companies are guilty, they used the same factory. It would be more acurate if ps wasnt the only thing foxconn made. I expressed my opinion. its too bad we dont agree. thats fine.

so a 3rd party company whose contracted to put the PS4's together is engaging in practices in which it has for years?

oh and by the way, Foxconn is also assembling the XB1.. http://www.geek.com/games/foxconn-is-already-assembling-the-new-xbox-for-microsoft-1555877/

so are you trying to imply that Foxconn is only using these college students on PS4's and not the XB1 aswell?

That is why I only buy made in the USA clothing.  I basically walk down the street naked with my New Balance shoes (the ones I buy are Made in USA due to larger foot size).

Throw away all your electronics and become a caveman is about all you can do.

That's hardly the worst thing Foxconn is doing.

You can be sure 90% of the eletronics devices you are using now was made in the same way.

Sucks.

I help make electronics (PCB production for server and other type of boards).  I barely make over 11 a hour though in the USA.  Better than what the Chinese make though.  Some companies are starting to bring PCB production back to USA because they are tired of trade secrets being leaked in China and the copying of design.

I can't believe the fucking guts of some of the people. Turned this topic to PS4 Vs Wii U Vs XB1. Just wanted to share the news i thought was somewhat relevant and people should be informed about.

Jeez.
