‘Assassin’s Creed 4’ director: Would you buy ‘Black Flag’ on Xbox One or PS4?
If you are the type of gamer who will be getting both the PS4 and Xbox One, but you're not sure whether or not you're going to buy the Xbox One version of Assassin's Creed 4 versus the PS4 edition, we may have some insight to help with that.
In an exclusive interview with Examiner, Assassin's Creed 4 game director Ashraf Ismail talked about the differences between the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game and which version of the game has more to offer gamers.
"They are both great consoles, but on the PS4 you have an hour of extra missions for Aveline, which is great. The remote play is unique to the PS4. So the PS4 has more to offer, I would say, especially from the extra hour of missions for people who didn’t play Liberation, you get to play a new Assassin.
"Her story gets fleshed out from what she did on Liberation. There are also a few surprises in there to push the lore of AC; but it’s for sure the PS4," Ismail said.
Now this doesn't mean that the Xbox One version of Assassin's Creed 4 is an inferior product, but it does further the point that the PS4 version will provide players with more bang for their buck.

personally i don't really care about this extra hour of content if the whole games has like 50 hours content. if it would be so important magazines would give the xbox version lower scores and i don't think that ubisoft wants that.
