Anyone knows who voices Skinner's mother?

If she dies, Seymour will have a breakdown that could lead to a "new" Skinner and also mess with the Edna/Ned relationship.

Nooo, I still watch every single new episode of the simpsons :( .

Kinda disrespectful since the actual guy was murdered, i'd say, and a bit of a "screw you" to fans who didn't know that.

Now, if they had a character who was universally, in-universe disliked (like Poochy, but real in-universe)

Phil Hartman was part of the (in my opinion) best cast of Saturday Night Live, ever.  I liked him a lot.

That actually would shake things up a bit and give more meaning to the prior Ned/Edna marriage, since then Edna would have Rod and Todd to herself and could give those boys a much needed reality check.

You really have to look at the voice cast list. The guy who does Homer and Mr. Burns do a lot of voice work. Doubt it'd be either of them. But it comes down to two possibilities: kill off one of their characters to pay them less, or get rid of someone who does one voice. My money's on Sideshow Bob. Great analogy!   But only in 18 episodes in 25 seasons, unless he's got a guaraunteed contract yearly, I can't see that happening.

He was also the voice of Lionel Hutz (the lawyer) and Lyle Lanley (the guy who sells the Monorail).
