Well, if it was an Xbox exclusive, it would be somewhere in the 8.5 to 9.0 range no matter what its quality is, so that's pretty good.

What's the logic behind this claim? ._.

The fact that Western critics really don't tend to give xbox exclusives any lower than 8.5 to 9.0 scores no matter what their quality whereas they've given several Playstation games that were just as good as any of the Xbox exclusives going back to the earliest days of the console( eg. Folklore, Heavenly Sword games that received a 9.0 and a 10.0 in Dave Halverson's "Play" magazine respectively)   aggregate review scores in the 70s.

This score for "Beyond:  Two Souls" can be taken as one last swipe at Playstation 3 by the Mainstream Western Gaming Media before Next Gen starts.

No.  I'm not wrong.  Dave Halverson ( and company ) have been the best critic that American Video Game Journalism has had to offer going back to the days of DieHard Gamefan in the early 1990s ( http://kotaku.com/5066014/golden-axe-reviews-are-irresponsible-rubbish-says-reviewer ).

As mentioned before, early Playstation 3 games like Heavenly Sword and Folklore received much better review scores in his Play magazine than several of the most heralded Xbox games ( ; however, the biased Western gaming media saw fit to give them scores in the 70s whereas the xbox fames were given much higher scores by the Xbox fanboys in the mainstream Western gaming media.

So as I said before, I'll either wait for Dave Halverson ( http://www.gamesetwatch.com/2009/02/column_game_mag_weaseling_dave.php ) or Nick Rox's take on the game or Raychul Moore ( https://www.youtube.com/user/RaychulMoore )'s she generally gives accurate reviews to Playstation games.

aww I was looking forward to this. I might still play it, though, if you guys recommend it. I don't like to look at reviews cuz the slightest detail can spoil a game for me.

Just got a copy!

Went to 7-11 to grab a 4-pack of Redbull and on the way out decided to check the Redbox kiosk. They had it!

Used a voucher code I got in my e-mail this morning too. So day 1 cost = $0.89.

I'll beat this game for under $10.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Got a retro room? Post it here!

I found the demo pretty boring to be honest

Sure, tell that to any exclusive JRPG on the 360. Or to Crackdown. Or Kameo. Or the Kinect games. Or the Naruto games. No, my friend, the xbox games have the same criticism as the Ps3 ones.

No  They don't.   Gears of War I is just a kill.switch RE4 ripoff.  On PS3 it would have received a 8.5 at best, but it has a 9.4 on metacritic that was given to it by critics trying to get the 360 over.
