PS - Japan is VERY trend based, if it's the cool thing then everyone follows that.  PS3 isn't cool and I don't think anything can make it cool.  DS and Wii are the cool things now. Fact of life.

Why did this thread turn into discussing FFXIII sales? The point is that Famitsu Most Wanted can't predict sales and therefore it won't matter that the list is full of PS3 titles or not.


We could actually have a Most Wanted vote on vgchartz and accumulate more votes than Famitsu.

that's true actually. The funny thing is that 7 is a very lucky number, and that is the one of that did the best.

 VF5 was a joke.

 Gundum month was 120k hardware sold, and it did raise sales.  (it is only a mediocre game with a big name)

 Motorstorm maintained sales, the comp hardware sales droped feb to march.

LBP might be a huge hit with the mas public, it will be a hit with the hardcore make your own stuff community.

 Home will be great, mass appeal will depand on marketing (will work as long as the people behind "this is living" are not the ones behind home marketing) 

Hot shots will boost sales in a similar way Gundam did.

LBP is the thing I am waiting for the most this year from PS3, more than MGS4, it looks really good...

Why is FF XIII Versus not counted as a proper game. It is essentially KH with third person shooting parts, which will add a greater range of people interested in the game. Anyway, the FF XIIIs aren't coming out till 08, so by then there will be a price drop, maybe quite large.

I have low hopes for XIII Vs. because of Dirge of Cerberus which was crappy, but hopefully it's good.
