Rumor has it that the contract was made in 2011 for 3 years and so should end by next year. If this is true then Sony should clench this opportunity so the Vita and PS4 can enjoy this beast's sales.

If true, then what's stopping Nintendo from securing a new deal?

Monster Hunter Frontier is heading to PS3 and Vita. So i guess the contract was made in 2010, not 2011.

It's not since exclusive means that it's ONLY Nintendo. Wii U is among everything so it doesn't mean anything. The fact that it IS coming to PS3 and Vita means that they:

1) Broke the Contract
2)Contract's running out

And Capcom responded by making the worst MH for the Vita and PS3.

Nintendo exclusivity =/= 3DS exclusivity. Thats why i just said about PS3 and Vita versions.
