Hy guys. As you can see from my picture, I love Monster Hunter Tri and have spent more than 450 hours on it. I'm not much of a handled folk, so I want a console (WiiU probably) to get a version of MH4. Feel free to start a discussion and I'll try and update as soon as there is any news for a console, regional, release (if it will ever exist). All I have for now is hype and the hope the monstrous sales in Japan bring with them. 

Do you have a Wii U? Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate may be worth your time while you wait. Potentially forever. 

No, I don't. Finishing my PhD so the only thing I play nowadays are casual, quick games. I'll probably get one by the end of the year when studies are over. And I hope you are wrong about your prediction. :P

I'm pretty sure they'll do another home console port eventually. Considering the Wii U's install base, MH3U actually did very well on the platform. Accounting for digital sales, it was probably the third best-selling Monster Hunter on home consoles. Maybe even the second after Tri.

That said, I wouldn't rule out a PS4/Wii U multiplat release, either.

Agreed. I got impressed about that as well.

As to the possibility of a PS4/Wii U multiplat release, I wonder if they would ever make online possible to play cross consoles. It would be wonderful, though almost imposssible.

2DS deserves to be mentioned in the GIF.  It should do rather well in helping 3DS sales.
