Forums - Sony - PSP making a comeback in the States as well?

Well the PSP is one of the best hand held emulators around.

I would get it!

I know, I know. Another Walmart thread.

But we just got more PSP stuff than we have Vita stuff! 99 dollar PSP with four games. I have not seen a PSP in a year, and now all of a sudden we have a dozen of them for sale?

I actually want to buy a PSP for 99 dollars for my kids. Really good deal with the four games! Worth it?

P.S. Another one of our Zelda bundles sold.

What are the games?

Almost a year ago I got a 3k for $100, but no games or anything. I use it for so many things that it was totally worth it.

PSP is a great handheld. Only gripe I had with it was the nub.

Do your kids have a DS and/or 3DS yet? If so then I wouldn't bother if I were in your shoes.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Ryan, it's Xmas season. Lots of cheap bundled electronics. Why is that surprising?

Is the cheap model coming to America then? It's what has been keeping it alive and kicking in Europe

If the Cheap model is this giant box with 4 games and a 99 USD price tag, then yes. First I have seen of it. Really good deal actually. I borrowed a friends early in the PSP's life cycle. Only watched it for movies back then but it was really nice.

@euphoria

They have a DS and 3DS...and GBA. My youngest boy want's an ipod, but I think this is a better deal for me. Although he does have a Birthday as well as Christmas coming up.

Is it kind of gray and cheap-looking?

You'd be better off asking if it says "PSP street"... because that's what the European tags say. It doesn't really matter, since for a kid, it could be pretty good. Wifi is unneccesary, the screen is pretty good, and ergonomically, it's also pretty good.

I did not know that :O. Well, it's easier to remember the colour than something written on it.

At least that's what I saw in Finland

But like in my above fixed post, either would be a good deal.

So, PSP killing Vita confirmed?

Its a much nicer machine ^

Needs some cartridges though
